I wish I had taken a picture yesterday but I noticed something in my mash that I had not really noticed before.  Normally I just see a mixture of wort and grain husks but yesterday I used carafoam (vs carapils) for the first time in a long time.  I noticed skinny white cylinders which I assume where the endosperms from the carafoam.  I think they eventually broke when I mixed with my mash paddle up but I forgot to take a close look.  has anyone else noticed this before with carafoam?

I have noticed that before though I don't think I've ever used carafoam so it wasn't that grain specifically.
