I grabbed some of their Harvest L17 to make a Dortmunder this coming weekend.    I've never used this brand or strain.   Anybody got any experience with it?

I have used imperial before with good results and have some I need to build up in the fridge. I have to check but I think harvest is the same as Omega Bayern, one of my favorites.

Eta:yup, looks like Augustiner, should be wonderful.

Mmm, love the Omega Bayern strain which Wyeast called 2352 as a temporary strain.  Really nice yeast.

There is a new (to me) player in town, literally, Gigayeast. Their lab is a few miles down the road from where I work. The morebeer shops near me carry it and do does the local mom & pop LHBS.

Next beer, I guess I am kind of obligated to go local-local.
