anyone using carapils copper?

so far I've used it in an APA and a vienna/pils hybrid I made.  I'm not sure I used enough to REALLY get a feel for it but both beers came out great.  I think it is a nice replacement for regular carapils if you want a little extra special something in there.  thoughts?

I have used it and I like it.  I did a beer that had the same grain recipe but one had CP copper and one had regular CP and I liked the copper version better.   Reminds me that I need to get another 5 pounds of it.

good point - I should check my grain closet to see how much I have...


looks like I have a pound so okay for one more batch of something.

I haven't used it. Reads like a 30l crystal on Breiss' site.

 

it doesn't add caramel type flavors.  more toasty if anything but I'm not 100% sure.

Agree, not like crystal to me. Adds color, body and bit of nuttiness but not sweetness in my batches.
