I'm generally a big, big proponent of dry yeast, and I use it almost exclusively. However, the Danstar is nothing like a liquid hefe yeast. I can't speak for WB-06, but I'll definitely never use Danstar Munich again.

I'll say the same for the WB-06. I hardly ever make traditional German hefe, but if I am going to, in this case I'lll stick with a liquid yeast.

I'm like you; I probably make it once a year at most. I'm pretty pissed that this year's is screwed up. Especially since I'm going to have a low-volume summer of brewing because of the carpal tunnel surgeries.
