well, based on my reading, nothing that can kill you can live in fully fermented beer at an avg abv. So taste a bit and see is you like it. If you do, transfer off the mold stat, and enjoySo last February I brewed this RIS. I had forgot about this extra bit that we had put in to a small 2.5 gallon carboy. Well, I ran across it today, and was like whoa! But then I saw that the airlock was bone dry and in one corner has a little nugget of furry green mold in it. The beer looks like the very top has a film of green on it, but I can' tell if it is mold or maybe some hop material that somehow floated to the top. Would you guys risk it or dump it? I generally don't like mold around anything, but this is Beer!!
