I didn't look at the list, but it is possible to have more than 4 samples an hour. I went to a similar fest and had my Camelback with me. After every sample, I drank water. Kept me from getting blotto. So I'm going to the NH Brewfest tomorrow. It's as many samples as you can get in 3 hours. I don't intend to get sloshed so I'm figuring I can handle about 4 samples an hour. I want to try to make a checklist to make sure I try the good stuff. So in other words, pick your top 12 beers from the list:https://www.brewnh.com/brews.htmlSo what do you guys think? What are the can't be missed items from this list?

I could maybe up it to 5. I'm just figuring 4-5 samples will come out to be a pint.edit: unless we can score a ride to this thing I could end up with driving dutiesI didn't look at the list, but it is possible to have more than 4 samples an hour. It's a 5oz glass that they say they'll fill to 3oz but I wouldn't be surprised if they are more generous. How big are the samples? This is why I don't generally go to Beerfests. No ride home.

It always seems to be a mix at these things... I've been where some give less and others give more. Didn't matter though... if you really liked it, you went back for more. Frankly, if I had to stay sober, I wouldn't bother going or paying an entrance fee. But when I lived in Madison, my cousin or wife would drop me off and then pick me up, so it wasn't a problem. It's a 5oz glass that they say they'll fill to 3oz but I wouldn't be surprised if they are more generous.

Went well - I did have the curiuex as well as a few other oak aged beers. Interesting stuff. After the first hour I wasn't tasting much though and I was just throwing back whatever I liked. I had at altbier which I haven't had much exposure to - those are a very nice style and I can see why people like them. How did the festival go for you Zymlogical? Hope you had a good time.
