Any way to allow the board to issue httpss certificates? That way I could surf at work without using a proxy lol
Can we get HTTPS certificates?

<_<Certs cost money and that would not be very high on our list of priorities of wikis and blogs and such. I'm also not clear on exactly how such a cert will help you. Are you saying that your work can't block stuff that is HTTPS? I know SSL presents challenges for content blockers, but most use other factors to get around that, so that would be a pretty lame and ineffective blocker your work has if that's the case.

Maybe when we do a server migration, I can do a self-signed certificate for free. It will generate a warning in your browser when you use it stating that it can't vouch for our identity, but you can chose to trust it manually. I've been a little concerned over logging in without a certificate anyway since that sends your password in clear text over the internet, so it would help solve that problem as well.yea, i can go to certain websites who's main URL will issue a httpss cert.had no idea they cost money, though. no worries

I know when they blocked gmail in Iraq, we dropped in an 'S' in and we could get inl. Now, you can get in gmail, but can't use the inbedded IM thingy unless you use the 'S' as well.

Gmail probably just has the httpss server redirected behind the scenes.
