Looks like the BJCP has rolled out the mead exam. I like the way they did it pretty much pass / fail doesn't have the rankings. (60% is passing)They have also limted the number of people that can take an exam @ 20. Previously they limited to 5 exam a month, but it sounds like the number of people in each exam has grown. The mead exam will also count towards the 5 limit and you cannot have a split exam part mead and part beer. Hopefully this will fix the exam grading delays (I personally think they need to move to a multi choice, it works for the SAT, ACT, BAR, etc just need to develop the exam properly but that is another thread).It look like the exam schedule is 20-30% filled for next year... so if you club is planning an exam I would get it on the schedule it now with the new exam I bet it will fill up fast.

I am actually one of the six people who took the first mead exam last year. It was more difficult than I expected, but I was pleasantly surprised by my final score.
