I had to drop off 4 CO2 tanks to get filled, 3-5# tanks and one 25# tanks. Of course 3 of the 4 tanks needed to be re-certified. So for the 25# and 2 of the 5# tanks it will be 100 for re-certification and a fill. Oh well, needs to be done.

ugh indeed. I think my local place doesn't give a damn about my tanks b/c they all look squeaky clean.

My place just does swaps. Cert fee prorated & added in.

The place I go to for 20# tanks does this too. $18 for a swap, no more need for re-cert.

There is a larger place that does swaps but it is a ways away and this guy is in town. Convenience has a price I guess. I just wish they did not all need it at the same time. Damn you CO2 leak!!

My shop takes out of date tanks without passing along the hydro test cost. Now that I swap tanks with them getting recerts isn't a worry.
