A good friend and brew club member is making and selling cigar box stir plates.  If you need one help him out.

Cool project. If these were strong enough to take bigger than a 2L flask I'd seriously consider one.

are the boxes really flimsy?  i'm surprised they can't handle the weight of a 5L flask + starter/

No the boxes are nice and strong.  I think its the fan and magnets he is testing.
