It was a interesting day in the brewhouse with cameras and tons of people when we usually have rock and roll and ourselves.I wasn't a shift brewer today, but was the float brewer, meaning I gave lunch breaks to the early and late brewers and I was responisble for the yeast pitch for the brew.It was awesome to see Mr. Grossman in the brewhouse trying to run it and seeing him twisting the wrong knob and generally showing he hasn't been there in a while, but the smile on his face was irreplacible! He was having so much fun brewing, it really brought back what the point was. Sam from Dogfish head was awesome. He just hung out with the brewers and folk and shot the baloney. What a great guy, and I really hope to go visit his brewery. These beers are gonna be good folks.BrewBasser

We heard about these in a meeting at work the day that I tried the Kellerweis. When I found out, it was hard trying to keep the joy I was experiencing from taking over my face.

I met the DFH Sam once. Nice guy. I almost [used the bathroom] under his fermenters once. Long story that I posted on the greenboard back in 06.

Mtn and I hung out with Sam and Adam Avery at the Taphouse the year the randall was introduced. It was West Coast vs East Coast IIpA's dueling randalls. We got in early and was able to just take pours instead of having to buy 2" fer 2$...I do remember those guys being pretty cool.

I like how Sam is reaching in his shirt to scratch himself while on camera. If we could see his nut sack area I bet he was adjusting himself as well before handling ingredients...

You should see the youtube of Sam making Chicha, they are chewing corn, then adding it to the mash.
