So I've never made mead before, but I have been wanting to try it out to see if it is something that I wan't to get in to. So I have these really small like 2.5 or 3 gallon carboys and I thought that I could use those to make a really small batch of mead. So if ya'll don't mind helpin a brotha out with a real basic small batch - maybe a gallon? If it works out, i have two buddies that have a few bee hives, and so i would have a ton of honey at my disposal. But i wouldn't want to waste it if I don't like mead or making it or whatever. Thanks!

Hightest's FAQ is probably a good place to start. Just scale the recipe down to whatever size batch you need.
