I figure that with Basser a member here, I could avoid seeing stuff elsewhere on the web. But the consensus seems to be: Base malt plus C60 to an SRM of 8 and an OG of about 1.055. 60-minute infusion mash at 152°. Total IBUs comes in around 37. 24 IBUs of Magnum for 60 ½ ounce of Perle for 30 1 ounce of Cascade for 10 2 ounces of Cascade at flameout 1056 or WLP001. This is supposedly information straight from the head brewer at SN (according to a thread on NB). Anyone care to pick this apart, make corrections, etc. I'm considering making something like this at some point.

Ooh, thanks for that. The way that the hops are described I'm having a hard time determining how to do it. It was mentioned in the thread that the hops seemed backwards or something. I only read page 1 so there may be a clarification later and I will read the rest of it.

Yeah, the hops seem to be time into a 90 minute boil, instead of time from flameout.

is that how the pros usually talk about it?

Someone else would know better than me, but that seems to be the only way that could be the recipe for SNPA.
