Nasal packing with strips of cured pork as treatment for uncontrollable epistaxis in a patient with Glanzmann thrombasthenia.

Yes, doctors shoved bacon in the nose of a girl with uncontrollable nosebleeds, and it worked.

But does it have the special anti-coagulants that pork does?

No.

Therefore it's inferior.  QED.  SCIENCE!

Fish bacon.

The closest thing I have ever made to this is a chicarones style salmon skin.  Amazing by the way.  Sriracha and lemon juice.....
