I really like the yeast. I'm curious how it holds up over the next few generations. I just got sick of L17 as it had this flavor that dominated every beer. Interestingly, I found the same tendency with Imperial's Que Bueno too. Need to do some testing...

It's a limited release strain from RVA yeast labs. I'm interested in trying some of their other offerings too. The vials were 4 days from packaging when I received them. A little pricey with the 2 day shipping, but worth it.

approximately 1 week later:
getting clearer! this is the keg that def ended up with more of the sludge from the fermenter so pretty good!

Fermented under pressure? Actually, it's the only way I've done a lager so far.
mostly although not as much as I normally do b/c my QD was cracked and leaking. it did still naturally carbonate by the end at least.
