I really like the yeast.     I'm curious how it holds up over the next few generations.    I just got sick of L17 as it had this flavor that dominated every beer.   Interestingly, I found the same tendency with Imperial's Que Bueno too.   Need to do some testing...

What yeast is it gentlemen?

It's a limited release strain from RVA yeast labs.    I'm interested in trying some of their other offerings too.   The vials were 4 days from packaging when I received them.  A little pricey with the 2 day shipping, but worth it.

getting clearer!  this is the keg that def ended up with more of the sludge from the fermenter so pretty good!

and crystal clear now.  a little over 3 weeks since I brewed it.

Looks nice. I'm about due to brew a lager. My cousin has a party every year where the old guys from the neighborhood get together. I haven't seen most of those guys in 25 years. Think I'll bring a lager (for the BMC crowd) and maybe a Tropical IPA.

mostly although not as much as I normally do b/c my QD was cracked and leaking.  it did still naturally carbonate by the end at least.
