Man, my town is having all the beer festivals this year. Winter warmer, then Baseball and Beers, Brewgrass, and now this. Anyways, $25, all local beers and food. Might have to check it out! I went a little crazy last weekend at Baseball and Beers, but I am sure I can convince the wife I should go to this on.Asheville Oktoberfest

Anyone going to this? Might be hard to compete with Charlotte's Oktoberfest, but I'm going!

Awesome time, rained for about 45 minutes then was nice. Was on Wall Street so it had a nice Oktoberfest appeal. Pisgah, Asheville Brew Co, Highland, Green Man, and French Broad all represented. I think each had an Oktoberfest and another. For $25, you got all the samples you wanted, except the samples were 16oz glasses. At the end you let them cut off the bracelt and you got a nice glass commemorative mug. Music was great and they had contest such as barrel roll and some chicken dance. For 4 hours, it was pretty cool. Can't wait for next year!
