performance reviews came in today.

 

I was the only member of my entire team who achieved "exceeded expectations."

 

As a result I will receive 120% of my bonus this year.  

 

bought some rum to celebrate.  Who's in??

Do you know what the baseline bonus is though?  I assume so, so congrats!  But 120% of not much is more of a buzzkill.

Congrats. Well done. I'm topped out years ago. I have no reason to exceed expectations other than to care a lot about my job.

My annual bonus is $5k and we achieved something like 97.5% of goals... so not bad at all

The "promotion committee" meets on the 26th of this month to finalize who's getting a promotion (of those who applied for one) and my manager says my performance review results will probably give me a nice edge on that too... here's hoping

in other news, I found out:

 

- there is a liquor store only 2 blocks from my new house called LIQUOR MAX WAREHOUSE

- they have a HUUUUUGE aisle dedicated to rum (both sides of the aisle)

- they carry 4 different kinds of Ginger Beer

- there is a drive-thru

 

I think I might have died and gone to heaven.
