What's up everybody? It's been a long time since I've been on the hb boards. I apologize, life gets busy. I just wanted to update everyone on what I'm doing and let you all know about the new brewery I'm working at.
I just moved to Atlanta to be the Head Brewer for Orpheus Brewing. It's a pretty sweet gig, and I'm working for some really cool people. We have a standard 20 bbl brewhouse, plus a custom built sour mash tun for running sour mashes over a couple days without tying up the brewery. Fermenting in 40s and 60s. And the facility has a ton of barrel space. Our tasting room will overlook the brewery and have windows out onto Piedmont Park. Pretty sweet.
We'll be doing a sour plum saison, a hoppy saison, 13% imperial stout, seasonal IPA series including an all Brett IPA. Packing in kegs to start, cans to follow, and we'll likely be bottling the stuff that eventually comes out of the barrels.
