Well, I picked up the Barley Crusher (with bucket) for $55 USD today. To buy one and get it shipped here would be about $150. I also got a 3 tap draft tower for $55 USD and a CO2 manifold with 16 quick connects for $30. He also threw in about a pound of hops.I feel bad that he had to get out of brewing for his health, but I know I'll give it all a good home

Great score!Yea that is too bad, but like you said, knowing that the stuff is going to continue on the journey with someone else is good.

Sucks that someone has to get out of this great hobby/obsession due to health issues but it happens. Nice score for you no doubts. I agree brew in his honor and unless health reasons meant he can't drink share some brew with him that you make with the equipment and hops he shared. A pound thats nice. Enjoy and Congrats!!

Unfortunately he's had to stop drinking altogether, or I would definitely give him some homebrew.
