last month on her way back from nebraska swmbo stopped in omaha as a favor to me and got me a bottle of upstreams triple, we saved it until tonight and had it with dinner. they made it into a lambic, so sour to the point of not being drinkable.big disappointment, and they charge like $15.00 for a 750L. needless to say never again. here's how they discribe it:Belgian Tripel Ale10% ABVGolden-colored, citrus fruit, spicy, mildly sweet and soft with a hint of oak characterthe citrus flavor was to the point of yuck. and definately not soft.
disappoinment big time

Trippels should not be sour.Sounds like something went horribly wrong in the bottle.BrewBasser
