Friggin love marrying a french canadian. This is an Xmas eve staple, in her house. I don't argue. Wife made a gluten free crust to this year so she can enjoy.
2lbs ground pork
1-1/2tsp cinnamon
1-1/2 tsp clove
1/4 cup water
put this into a 4qt pot and bring to a boil/brown. It's sort of a thick mix. Add 2TSB of either powdered potatoes or coconut flour once you bring it off the stove. Cool for 60min.
Pour mix into a pie pan with a pie bottom laid in.
Let congeal in the garage overnight. Put a pie top. Bake @300F for 40min to serve.
