Yes, much appreciated. I didn't know about that Brewer's Friend site but a water calculator put together by Kai is worth noting.

It's just too bad that this software needs a walk through. I had EZ Water loaded with my water profile and working in a matter of minutes.

I didn't need the Bru'nwater walkthrough.  Not everyone will.  Besides, I'd gladly trade ease of use of EZWater for the accuracy of Bru'nwater.  EZWater did not give me results that are as good as what I get with Bru'nwater.

I had no trouble with Bru'nwater.  Some of the chemistry behind it is above my paygrade.

I didn't bother to do the walk through either. Interesting though, EZ-Water works fine for me and and many of the guys I know that brew. Oh well, it's not for everyone.

True.  Some of us prefer accuracy.

Which helps if you have accurate water software.  All I know is that I get better results with Bru'nwater than with EZWater or Palmer's calculator. Like you said, better beer is the goal.
