I've had a few of their beers, not sure if I had the 9. Mostly they were unimpressive and a couple were nasty. Good LuckMashman

The 6 is a nice Baltic Porter.

We're only allowed two a day while we're in Manas, so if I get there tomorrow, I'll try one 6 and one 9. Best tasting one is beer of choice for the remaining days.

Local beer store carries it. Never tried it. Interesting lady on the end cap cardboard add. :) Don't know if the pic will pass muster here so do a google image search for Baltika. It's there, buried under several pages.Give us a review of the beer. I am curious.

I found all of them to be quite good, as long as they are fresh.

I've had 3 or 4 of Baltika's beers, including the 9. Not bad at all for the price. I want to say they are under $2 for a 16 oz bottle.

Energy value: 60 kilocalories per 100 g of beer.

?? 60 thousand calories per 100 grams??I know it's late, but I'm having a problem believing it! :)

Actual calories you typically see marked on food packages are really kilocalories. https://www.weightlo...uk/calories.htmMashman

The 6 is a nice Baltic Porter.

I'm hoping so, Cyburai has one of these waiting for me in his brew room. I forgot to pick it up last time I was there. I've been wanting to brew a Baltic Porter and I'm having a hard time finding commercial examples, he found this and picked it up for me.

There's a store here (San Fernando Valley) that carries all the Baltikas. I recencetly tried 3, 6, and 9. All very good.

I have had a couple of their beers here and I didnt like them. Dont remember what they were (not the 6 or the 9), but they werent good. However, some of the "not good" could very well have been extensive abuse in their trip to my store shelf.

6... very good. I've never had a baltic porter before, but if that's a good example, I'm brewing one. They were out of the 9, but that's ok... I feel fine. :smilielol:
