Just thought I would put this out there. My brewing partner is planning on ordering this for his setup. Reviews seem pretty solid minus some shipping issues. A lot less expensive than having a stand made.

That looks like an awesome stand.  Report back!

He plans on getting it after the new year but I will definitely let you guys know. Anyone see any glaring problems? Most of the reviewers are homebrewers and seem to like it.

Looks good... but is the upper tier high enough for gravity to work?  Looks like a pump might still be in order.  Although having "one" piece that has two burners would be preferable to hauling out two burners.

at some point you are going to need either a pump or to use your back.

No opinion on the stand, but I've never been a fan of those hurricane style burners and the way they howl vs. ring burners.

Yea, the jet burner on the bottom would have to go.

I wonder if you could shoehorn a HLT below where the upper burner is, put a cooler MLT on the top shelf, and pump the water up from there.

Could you expand on this? Is it simply a noise issue or efficiency?

Both, but mostly the noise issue.

I agree with Tapper on this one.....My old system had jet burners, and the new system runs on low pressure (11" w.c.) burners.....the new burners have the following advantages:

   (1)  They are dead silent.....I need to look to see if a burner is lit under a kettle

   (2)  They are rated for indoor use, which is nice for winter garage brewing in Wisconsin (no CO worries or even thoughts)

   (3)  They run off of my whole house propane tank which I have piped into the garage
