Im getting a recipe together for when i can brew again. I was going to brew yesterday, but the weatherman says we are going to get HOT again. I dont have a temp controlled ferm chamber, so itll have to wait a week or so. But this is the recipe ive come up with so far. My question is: HOw do i know how many Cascade hops to add at flame out? I know that im shooting for IBU's in the high 30's, but Promash doesnt calculate the dry hops in the equation. Do I add an ounce at flameout? 2 ounces? Anyone know? Heres my recipe so far. Any help would be appreciated. That WAS my hop schedule for this beer. In fact I'm having a pint right now. But....after have a real SNPA on Wednesday night, it's HUGE on the flavor addition. So when I brew it again, I would add the 2 oz of Cascades at 10 mins and 1 oz at F/O...But like I said, this beer is great the way you've got it above....I'm enjoying one now!Just my two cents...

According to their website the bittering hops are Magnum and Perle, finishing is obviously Cascades. I think Northern Brewer will be fine though.

I remember reading that now. I think when i put together this recipe, i was going by what i had on hand. Ill be sure to change that when i brew. Thanks for the reminder!

At flameout you should be using a shovel for the cascade hops.BrewBasser
