How much for the little girl? How much for the women? Your women. I want to buy your women. The little girl, your daughters... sell them to me. Sell me your children.

Based on this thread, I tried the bottle of the Torpedo I had in the fridge last night. It is a nice beer! Could have used more hops though. :smilielol:

Yeah, but how many beers out there would you NOT say that about. :smilielol:

hahaha good point. In all seriousness it is a great beer, but I did think that they flavor and aroma came up just the slightest bit short. Not bad short but just a smidge. It went to 10 and I was ready for 11.It could have been me at that moment or maybe the beer had a long hard trip to GA or something.

Personally I think it is the best beer SN brews. The flavor and aroma of the bottles that I tried were huge. It reminded me of a lighter version of Southern Tier Hoppe, which with its sister beer UnEarthly is one of the best IIPAs on the planet. I dig it because it has less emphasis on the bittering and more on the late addition hops. More of a contemporary IPA than Celebration, which I always find a tad too bitter. Still like it, but Torpedo blasts it out of the water. I keep getting it at Acme Bar and Pizza here in Rochester after work when everything is 2 for 1.

I'm a Torpedo fan. Big time. I'd pick it over SNPA even...and I like SNPA. I'm very happy that it's a year long offering and not a seasonal.

Finally found and drank Torpedo last night. Great IPA. I really love the flavor and aroma from this beer. It is my fav SN beer as well. I had a nice lingering hop bitterness after each sip too. Great beer. Happy I have 5 more to drink and will definitely get more of it too. Good Work Brewbasser.

Got my hands on some, a good store nearby lets us make our own mix-6-packs of the same brand, so I got 3 Torpedo and 3 ESB. I gotta say, the Torpedo is nice, but the ESB isn't well balanced, IMHO. It seemed to have a harsher taste, definitely not what I was expecting. The Torpedo was nicely balanced and smooth.
