They have all but forgotten about us here in West Texas. Whoever their sales rep is should be fired.

Texas? Sh!t, here in south Florida, we can't get squat.
Finally just got New Belgium down here and in the past I drank so much "imported" Fat Tire (because it was novel) that I can't stand the thought of drinking any more ever again.
But I do want to try some Flipside!!

The New Belgium thing was a pissing contest about distribution rights for bottled product in FL. SN distribution rights are settled, so it may just be a matter of timing.

Oh, I'm sure we'll see it down here and hopefully soon. I've never been disappointed with any SN beer and have to say I place my order for Ruthless each January.

We had it fairly good here two years ago, then something broke down with the distribution. I wasn't able to order any Celebration last year, and now the most exotic SN beer here is Torpedo, and it's usually dead for sitting on warm shelves. I really love their beers and really miss having the choice to buy them.
I'm sorry, SN Pale is like the New Belgium. I drank so much of that before any other good beers came out that I can hardly do it anymore.

Supposedly they have it at publix here, but it was gone from the shelves in about an hour.

Just got back from the grocery store and had to peruse the beer aisle..low and behold there was only 1 sixer left of Flipside...I felt it was calling my name...gonna give it a first go during the football game tonight.. Sierra Nevada never disappoints me and this is an IPA so it should be pretty good..

There was a sixer of Tumbler at the grocery store right next to the Flipside so I would say that it is not a replacement..Checked the SN website and both beers are listed as seasonal offerings too.

(Distribution was okay 2 years ago when I first moved here. what happened?)
I miss Sierra Nevada. Can only drink so much stale Torpedo. Just have your guy call my guy (ME!) I'll PM the number.
*sets alarm for 3 years from now*

I think it is strictly a West Texas thing. From what I heard the last distributor lost the contract, and whoever has it now has done absolutely nothing, other than allow all Torpedo to be stored on warm shelves.
A year and a half ago I had 3 cases of Celebration before it was gone. Everybody is acting ignorant about it now. I should check harder to find out who has it. It's just that I would think a company like SN would notice the slump in sales in this area and do something on their own. Shouldn't be my job.
No problem, I guess. There are lots of other craft companies trying to sell their beer. Stone in particular has finally cracked down on distributors leaving out of date beer on the shelves. I notice it must be a national campaign as some 6 pack cartons tell you to check the dates first.
I never find old Stone IPA anymore, and it is so nice to have perfectly fresh Stone beers now. The IPA gives me a boner. Plus, lots of their seasonals and collaborations are making into the stores. I had a great beer the other night that I hadn't heard of, Stone wOOt Stout. 13.9% collaboration partially aged in bourbon barrels. Like candy, but very dangerous.
Oh, and I can get Pale Ale all day long. Sorry but that's so 20 years ago! It's great, but I drank so much of it through the years that I would love to be rewarded with their new offerings, thank you!
