Hi, I'm making a first time ever happen for me off the cuff idea mead.

If a mead has maple in it its an Acerglyn, if its got Malt in it its a braggot.

What do you call it if its got both maple and malt?

Do you go by the amount of each and the higher amount wins?

26C, if you're going by the BJCP guidelines.  Open Category.  In this instance, it's not the ratio of the ingredients, it's the ingredients themselves.
