Thanks to an unnamed drunken pirate shown below I now have my own keg washer.  It was an easy build and I forgot to take picks for each step but I did get a few. so Here is what I ended up with.

Attach them to the posts and you'll get cleaner to go through them so you don't have to tear them down every time.

And to think all this time I've used oxyclean and a toilet brush.  What a friggin ape I've turned out to be.

If I have time to do it I'll set mine up and go through a keg every 5 minutes. I make sure to use hot water with the PBW. Otherwise it takes me about 30 minutes per keg to do a deep clean. When you are cleaning 20 kegs, that isn't fun.

what pump are you using?

I've been thinking about building one of these for years, but just have never gotten around to it.

I decided to do more research recently, but all the pumps in my price range that I was looking at with the power I wanted were only rated up to 25C and no harsh chemicals. How big of a deal do you think that is? I tend to think with the low overall cycle time, it shouldn't be a problem, but I'd rather not have to buy a pump every year!

Awesome.  I have a fark ton of empty kegs I've been lazy about cleaning... this seems right up the ally for a batch cleaning.

I can't remember where I got it (I gave it to Dan) except that I think DJ posted a link for a deal on a pump like a woot deal or something like that. It was 80% or 90% and only cost $20 with shipping. So it's usually a lot more. I never got around to using it, I have a sump pump for cleaning already. Dan wanted to make a keg cleaner so I sent it to him so someone would use it.

I think that was me that posted that.  It was about a year ago and it did costs 20 bucks.  I use the same one and so far it has worked fine.

Mine was from this place https://bensoutlet.com/ they come up there every now and then.

Thanks for the link. If/when I finally get around to this, I'll probably start with a cheap sump pump, and see how long that lasts. haha.

Get a utility pump, sump pumps have a float switch you have to deal with.

I wouldn't use one if it wasn't dirty water but who knows I may be wrong.
