Found some cheap heat exchangers on eBay

Indeed thay are cheaper. Much!Good tip for those considering moving into plate chilling.I made the move and bought a Therminator over a year and a half ago and am stillhappy as a clam I did.C.B

Could anybody hazard a guess why this would be so much cheaper than a Therminator?

Maybe because they are featured on MadeInChina.com ?https://www.made-in-...er-B3-12B-.htmlI'm trying to see where else they are available and any kind of review as to their quality.

As far as I can tell the Therminator is just purposed for homebrew market and nothing too special. Looks like this one is about 25% smaller than the Therminator. Not that it means anything, just pointing it out.

It does mean it's about 25% less efficient than the therminator.
