If I block images from https://www.brews-bros.xyz/uploads/ at work, will there be any unintentional side effects? I guess I'm asking if any other images come out of that folder or if it's just locally hosted avatars? Blocking images from the whole domain makes things screwy, I'm hoping to avoid that.

Aw crap. I dont think I can do that. Firefox will only block images from a domain name, not domain/folder. I guess I'll just have to keep avatars blocked at both home and work unless someone can enlighten me on a way to block it at just one location.

Weird that I said folders. I guess I'm finally assimilating. I used to say directories and all the youngsters would give me looks.I could do that, but it wouldn't just do the avatars. I think the only way to get it to work the way I want it to is for all the avatars to be located at avatars.brews-bros.xyz or something similar. I doubt that'll happen, so I'll just turn them off using the board settings.

Why not just use the "Do you wish to view members avatars when reading topics? " option on this page?

I ended up doing that, even though the solution I was looking for wouldve been site specific (blocked at work, not at home), not user specific.I just got used to not looking at avatars. NBD.

I've used adblock+ particular avatars that could could cause problems at work.
