Will the Mother let you brew and if so what? Jury is still out here but if I do... well I'm not going to get ahead of myself. I'm washing bottles so far.

So... Mother's Day weekend...

Yup, Im brewing a cream ale in the morning. There are some advantages to being single.
My mother's day activities will be pretty much made up of texting "Happy Mother's Day" to my sisters.

Leaving for a trip to Las Vegas so no brewing. I think that those of you who are married and have young kids... you have to do something for your Mom and your wife. My kids are now 13, 15 and 17 and although I did order one of those Edible Arrangement things for my wife, I tell my kids that they are old enough to put some thought into doing something for Mother's Day. Cheers Beerheads.

Going to see mom and spend most of the day with the wife tomorrow. Possibly a Red Ale on Monday.

Down to about 70F now, did the 15 minute whirlpool addition at 170. This will be the beer I hang out with at the wedding. Got an Irish red yeast split, american hefeweizen yeast split and this APA yeast split. Should be fun to show folks the big difference yeast can make.

Glad you found something to do. Brewed Friday. Saturday was blitzed with 2 weddings. Went to see my Mom for a while today and took the wife to buy herbs for her little herb garden. Jackpot, found everything she wanted this year in 30 minutes. This has taken over a week in years past. Finished digging for her and beer is in hand. Fermenter is still burping away.

my Mom's deceased, called Grandma and sent her a card, and SWMBO is out to Mom's day lunch with her oldest, I mowed the yard whilst the mash rests @149 for 90 minutes
