I can get the adjustable parts for my nonadjustable? How does that work?I have the fully adjustable, well actually bought the parts to convert the non-adjustable bare bones version. I would rather be able to adjust the crush...........

IIRC I had to get a new roller and a new plate that had the adjustable bearing. Wish I had gotten that to begin with. Lots of people are happy with the non-adjustable though.I can get the adjustable parts for my nonadjustable? How does that work?

I bought the barebones fully adjustable one a couple years back .. I do not see a need for the gear drive. I currently use a 1/2 drill to power mine with a bodine waiting to go on and have never had an issue with the crush.mikeHowdy Brewers,I am thinking about getting a JSP MaltMill. They come as barebones versions with whatever options you like. https://schmidling.com/bbordpp.htmExcept they can't do both fully adjustable and also gear-driven. Which do you think is more beneficial?TIA, Tom

Yeah, I've been very happy with it for ?10 years.I just dropped it and the milling seems to be more coarse than it used to.IIRC I had to get a new roller and a new plate that had the adjustable bearing. Wish I had gotten that to begin with. Lots of people are happy with the non-adjustable though.
