Anyone have experience using beer gas instead of CO2 to carbonate (beergassonate) their beer? I have 20# and want to start using it, but I'm afraid of screwing up the beergassination.

I've never understood the need for this when CO2 works so well by itself. Maybe I just don't know enough about it

I think it's still carbonation since nitrogen is pretty insoluble in water. The whole point of beer gas (or nitro) is that you can serve at a really high pressure to get the beer through the little sparkler plate in the faucet without overcarbing the beer.

So that's the reason. I didn't know that, but since my welding supply store doesn't handle it, I'll never use it anyway.
