i still haven't made this with pecans but everyone loves them with almonds. i now make 6 cups at a time and they still don't last. i need to find a bulk source of nuts...

I don't know if their shipping prices are reasonable, but I get all my nuts from clnf.org.

FYI - BJs is probably about the same price as clnf.org after shipping is accounted for and I didn't need to buy 100#

so I made another batch of almonds. i'm still using a little bit of cumin in addition to stains recipe above. i also replace 1/3 of the regular paprika with smoked paprika. I think next time I'll try 2/3 smoked and increase up to full on smoked paprika if I decide that's what I'd like.
