This is a nice looking recipe from Mitch's IPA book. It is supposed to be a modern English IPA brewed to specifications from the 1800s. Note that the IBU calculation is low due to my settings for FWH. Measured IBUs should be around 75 so do what you have to do to get to that number. Also for those that don't like Fuggle hops, I think a good substitute would be American Willamette. Makes me want to build a hopback.

I think Willamette would be a good choice, and my choice seeing I have so many of them. I got a hop rocket for Christmas and I really need to get a beer done with that. I have had a few homemade hop backs before but none seemed to do what I wanted.

Also, if you want to hear the brewer talk about the beer and recipe check this out https://thebrewingne...k.com/shows/727

A Hop Rocket! Yes. I knew there had to be a piece of Blichmann equipment that I didn't own yet.
