I made an Old English Ale for my boss and he loves it. He had a few friends over and they all say its the best OEA they have ever tasted. Now I don't know there drinking history but It feels good when people love your beer. This was the first batch using my new hop spider and it came out much clearer then my other beers. I'm thinking I'm going to have to make this one again for myself.Dan

Was this the one you ran out of propane during the boil? I love it when people are happy with a beer, it is a real good feeling.

Goes to show that even when you screw things up, the beer will be ok.

Nice! It is always good to hear the beer you brew is good. Most of my friends have liked mine so far. Now when I get all of these big Belgians and sours coming out that may widdle down the herd.

My friends were easy to widdle out. Once I started making IPA's and Impies they don't mooch on me anymore.

Ha ha I haven't done an IPA yet. But that will be soon. I'm getting this Belgian stuff worked out and my sours all settled in their longtime homes. I want to have set recipes for all my Belgians then go into experimenting with hops. I love a good hoppy brew. Some of my friends do but most of them love stouts. Even the non beer drinkers like my stouts.
