What? When I have had it, it has had HUGE flavor and aroma. Is it possible you got an old one that has faded in these areas?I loved it when I had it.

I had this beer a short while back as well and really enjoyed it too. The flavor and aroma were good from what I tasted and I like Simcoe. I second that the bottle may have been older and that would not surprise me either. Last year my wife bought me a 6 pack of Great Divide Titan IPA and it was 5 months old by the time she bought it too. JK try another one and see what you think further.

I bet the hop flavor and aroma is incredible at the brewery.

Definitely could have been an old bottle. I'll check to see if it's dated.

Boo. I know there are some simcoe haters out there, but my Primum Mirus IPA does not taste the same without a simcoe FWH addition. When it comes to simcoe, I hear people getting resinous sticky icky all the way to cat pee (gross) but I get piney/juniper notes. Did I mention that I bitter my ESB's with fuggles? Okay, now I'm just asking for it :smilielol:

Siouxbrewer, No worries I am with you on the Simcoe, I rather enjoy this hop and would not hesitate to use it for Pales and IPA's. Oh you said Fuggles. I have a lb of it in the freezer and will be using it in many English beers down the line. :smilielol:
