I currently use a RV type hose to attached to a utility sink faucet to fill my kettle. It works reasonably well but it's very stiff and applies a lot of force on the faucet and causes it to leak a little bit b/c of this. Is there something more flexible that I can easily hook up to my faucet (standard garden hose connector) and can take some hot water? thanks!

Maybe you can buy 1/2 inch vinyl tubing and fix some hose fittings to it. I did this with the lines running to my immersion chiller.

actually - if I get a hose to 1/2" barb I might be able to reach from the sink to the drain on my HLT and fill it from the bottom. hose resuse hooooooooooooo!!!!there is no concern of using brass stuff if it's just exposed to water, right?
