A little under $15 for a 20# at the local fire extinguisher place. The 10# isn't much less though. Fills, not swaps

I think mid $20s for 20lb but seeing as I get over a year on a fill I tend to forget the actual numbers.

Man, I'm getting hosed! LHBS $21 for a five pound exchange, $17 at the gas supplier for 5#. $26 for ten pound tank and 30 for my 15#. Oh yeah, the LHBS is almost $40 for a ten pound exchange. That makes co2 leaks an expensive mistake.

$20 bucks flat, from 2.5lb to 20lb tanks. LHBS does 5lb for $13 if I leave it overnight, but that's not convenient since Saturday is the only day I can visit them without taking time off of work.

$10 for a 5lb tank but if I had a 55lb tank it would only be $15 so I'm obviously not really paying for the CO2 as much as I'm paying for the overhead and the labor to fill it.

Go and talk to your local guys, their pricing is based on account status and they can provide good pricing if so inclined, especially if it is at a facility that does the filling, carry a 6 pack in when you do this ... my guys like all styles by now.We have an "open" cash account at Airgas for our club , $8 for a 5lb and $14.50 for 20lb. I dealt with the counter guys , but their manager is fully on board and we track how many guys are using them, so we know volumes and if it is worth it.I get the Material Handling Safety documents sent to my address once a month.as for types of CO2 - they all get filled from the same large tank.....
