This is a great first-time beer for introducing to new brewers, or when you can't steep specialty grains for some reason. For 5 gallons:2.5 lbs Amber LME (My LHBS uses Breiss )2.5 lbs Light LME (Breiss 'Pale')1 oz Cascade 60 min.25 oz Cascade 10 min1.035 OG, 27 IBU. A nice easy drinker. The Amber LME can potentially be replaced by upping the Light to 5 lbs, and steeping a half lb of Caramel 60. I haven't tried that yet, so YMMV.
