I never have been happy with my system. I decided to rip out my old beer lines and replace them with new. I plan to back with 3/16" ID lines, even though they are a complete muther to feed over the barb on the tap shank. Reading the FAQ results in a headache, so is there a magic bullet approach to the length of my beer lines? Say if I go with 5' of line I should be good? I had problems with my last keg of flat beer with lots of head. I took over a year off brewing, but I have 10 gallons of Kolsch that I need to keg up this weekend. Kinda rusty on this stuff.Cheers

If it was that easy Tom wouldn't have had to write the FAQ. 5' of line is about what most people use so if you just wanna SWAG it, that's a good place to start. But there is no one size fits all solution here. Take some aspirin and read the FAQ.
