Awesome! I am glad the recipe worked out for you. I am still working on a keg from February and the beer ( to me) gets better and better with time. I really need to brew up another batch for when this keg blows.

Drez sent one of these too me a while back. This is one of the few smoked beers I have enjoyed and gave me none of the baid-aid phenol I get so often in smoked beers. Seemed like the base brown ale was such a nice beer on its own and then the low level of smoked malt was used as a great accent.

It has been a few years but this is on the radar for this weekend. I plan to leave the grain bill as is and only adjust the bittering hop to accommodate my 30 minute boils.

Nice! I had planned to do this beer again this year for my annual fall chili cook-off but the wife put the kibosh to that and wants a nut brown.
