I'm driving to Jacksonville on Saturday to drop off some beers for for the CASK First Florida Cup. We are stopping in G-ville do drop off some dogs and then up to jax to drop off the beers. Google shows some breweries, but no brew pubs. Maybe my google-fu is weak today. If I had time to do some brewery tours I would, but I kind of doubt it since we are making a round trip back to Tampa in one day.

I'm driving up with the GF, dropping the beers off and driving back. Nothing special. I'm just ran out of time to carb up the beers and ship, so I gotta do it this way.Cheers,Rich

Stubbie shirt pub is always a worthwhile stop. That's where the wife and I decided we liked each other (and beer). Our names are on the wall of the original pub, not sure if they're still doing that in the expansion. When I was there Market Street made a few beers, but they werent good. Now there's a new brewery, but I didn't get a chance to try any of their stuff last time we were there at the end of 2010.

We went to Brewers Pizza after I dropped off the beer. Woah, seriously good pizza. They have a 7bbl brewery on premise. I got some pics I have to upload. Unfortunately the brewer wasn't there to give a tour. They have 6 or 7 beers on tap and that many guest beers as well. I had a Landslide IPA which was pretty good and also a Red White and Blue which is their pinglehead imperial red ale that is aged on white grapes and blue berries. It was interesting. Not a whole lot of fruitiness in the taste, but definitely in the aroma. Neat beer. That is all the beer we had time to try, had to drive 3.5 hours back. It was a nice day drive though.Cheers,Rich
