Gingerman NY might be my favorite beer bar in the city. Their selection is always rotating and always phenominal. The staff knows their beer too. Decent food, I meet a friend here for lunch regularly. I've never been at night, yet. They have over 70 beers on tap, and almost every time I'm there both of their casks are flowing. They don't use forward seals, but I spotted a European style faucet there yesterday. My favorite sandwich is the turkey & brie which I get on rye, the turkey club is good too. They have a great website which is constantly kept up-to-date so you can just check it in the morning before heading out and know what you want when you get there. They make like one beer, offsite, which I've never had. I pretty much just always grab lunch at the bar and put back a few "half-pints" which are actually 12oz. Instead going for the full 20oz, I get to try more beers in a sitting.

I've been to the Gingerman in Dallas and it was by far the best beer pub I've ever been to. Was a little more dark and moody than the pictures I'm seeing of that NY one.

***** for Gingerman, NYThe best beer bar I've been to in the city but I'll admit I haven't tried them all yet. Roomy (rare for Manhattan), comfy and a great beer selection. Like Falling Rock without the granola. Posted Image
