feel free to hijack, anyway, I have yet to move beyond the fridge and picnic tap though I have a 3 keg setup all with picnic tapsI didn't want to hijack Mic's post about the standup fridge....If I have a stand-up fridge and put a keg in there with just a regular party/picnic tap & connected it to a CO2 tank....would there be any issues?I can't imagine it would be any different than setting up a full kegerator setup, the only difference is I would have to open the door to use the tap, which isn't a big deal to me.

This works surprisingly well but you've got to watch your serving pressure since there's no beer line restriction.I have been serving direct from the keg through a faucet screwed onto a liquid QD.

Interesting. Most standard picnic tap lines are 4 ft. you would think they would offer some restriction. Albeit not what my 7 ft lines offer. This works surprisingly well but you've got to watch your serving pressure since there's no beer line restriction.

Some of my brew buddies use this setup. It works pretty well. Keeps all the lines from getting tangled.he's talking about a faucet right on the liquid out post with no line.

I've done it at parties where I didn't have a jockey box available. Sit the keg in a tub of ice water and mount the tap right onto the QD. Most homebrew shops sell an adapter for this purpose. Some of my brew buddies use this setup. It works pretty well. Keeps all the lines from getting tangled.
