one contemplates buying kappa carrageenan in bulk, and mixing it with finely powdered Irish Moss, then measuring out small specific amounts into the kettle, in lieu of the pre dosed tabletsone would be nucking futs to really do this

But one would be a genius to use it if someone was nucking futs enough to do it. I would love it if you could just buy Whirlfloc powder and measure out a half teaspoon or whatever into the boil.

I have both IM and Whirlfoc. I use the IM mainly because i had it first and want to use it up before opening up the whirlfloc. After reading this thread im starting to think I should give the tablets a try.

they really are a no brainerDO NOT follow the 1 tablet per 5 gallon directions, use a 1/2 tablet for 6 gallons, no more than 10 minutes in the boil

Damn you BBM. *shakes fist in air*What hops did you get? I looked at them and wanted to buy something but didn't see anything that I had to have. Freezer space is really tight right now or else I would have gotten some just cuz.

I also put a bottle of Fermcap in the order

That's my dawg.
