I decided my kegerator was long over due for really good cleaning. I had been using the cleaning kit that came with the kegarator to flush the lines. But I finally ran out of the stuff for the cleaning agent (think it was PBW). So while looking around online I've ran into something called BLC (not sure who the mfg is) and something called LLC (5 star makes it). Any know if there is a difference between the two? Anyone use anything else they would recommend?

I have BLC and it is a great product, caustic based. I just learned about the LLC and haven't researched it yet.

Same here. My bottle of BLC will probably outlive my kegerator and me both. However, 5-Star makes outstanding products so I'm sure LLC is a quality line cleaner.

BLC is potassium hyroxide based, LLC is sodium hydroxide based. They probably both work just fine.

Big FWIW . Bought a quart of BLC (found an online deal for it). Worked like a champ. Kinda scary how much crap builds up in a kegarator
