- 1 (29 ounce) can reduced sodium chicken, beef, or vegetable broth
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1/2 bell pepper, chopped
- 2 large, fresh jalapeno peppers, seeded and chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup green salsa
- 1 tablespoon cumin powder
- 2 tablespoons chile powder
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 teaspoon ground cayenne pepper
- Beer, as needed
- Salt to taste
