Hello, I wanted to make a quick intro here because I would like to join the group brew.I've been making mead and beer infrequently for a few years and have learned alot from some of the posters who are now here (I lurked at that "other" board). Thanks for sharing your knowledge. Anyway, hello, good to be here and I hope I can contribute something.Scott

Hello and welcome!! :( I have been a wine forum lurker/reader for years. I just never feel the need to post a whole lot about wine but love to read about what people are doing. I have had mead several times and have yet to have some that would move me off my taste for wine.

Burn, dude.

Well, he hasn't had any of mine yet! Seriously, I've been working with several recipes over the past year or two for some "in your face" mels that are specifically designed to be of interest to grape wine drinkers. I have several friends who used to think they were wine-only drinkers. I've shown them there's more to life than Cabernet or Zin. :sarcasm:

Burn, dude. :(

I enjoyed it, I just could not drink it very often. I must have a girlie palate or something. I would never make it as a Viking!

No, but after listening to Rich saying how great it is, he needs to send me some.
